Dutch law and the Logistics Services Conditions (LSC 2014) including the arbitration clause taken up therein (art. 14) apply to all our agreements and activities. As per art. 2 thereof, to freight forwarding and to customs and tax services the Dutch Forwarding Conditions (DFC 2018) apply. To view the LSC 2014, click here. To view the DFC 2018, click here. Moreover, both aforementioned documents can be downloaded via our website www.loendersloot.com under the heading “About Loendersloot”. Two amendments apply: (i) art. 23 of DFC 2018 is replaced by art. 14 of LSC 2014 (arbitration clause); (ii) in the aforementioned art. 14 the word “TAMARA” is replaced by “UNUM” (in view of a 2018 name change of the relevant arbitration institute). In respect of any mode of transport, we always act in our capacity of freight forwarding agent (‘expediteur’) as per art. 8:60 Dutch Civil Code (DCC). We explicitly reject any and all general conditions of our contractual counterparts, unless we explicitly agree in writing the applicability of such general conditions.
